ABOUT ME

Jolina is a California Girl born and bred. From a young age, she had an appreciation for the arts and entertainment. As a kid, she religiously watched Saturday Night Live and would impersonate her favorite characters for her family.  When Jolina was 7, her mother enrolled her in her first ballet class.

She trained at the San Francisco Ballet and then moved to the East coast to further her training at SUNY Purchase College where she graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance and was the recipient of the Ballet Achievement Award. She moved to New York City where she freelanced with various dance companies but soon wanted to dip her toes into the New York City Theatre scene. She bought a pair of Laduca heels, auditioned for The Radio City Christmas Show, starring the famous Radio City Rockettes and was offered a spot in the New York City Staple as an Ensemble Dancer.

Soon Broadway called and she was offered a spot as an Ensemble Ballet Dancer in The Phantom of the Opera. She has also been seen as Connie Wong in A Chorus Line at New York City Center and at the Metropolitan Opera in Nixon in China. One of Jolina's favorite credits was playing Nicoline in Susan Stroman's new Broadway Bound Musical, Little Dancer. Recently, Jolina can be seen dancing with Ariana Debose on CBS in Opening Number of The 75th Annual Tony Awards. She has also been seen on TV in The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kate Spade, Bush's Beans, Boll & Branch, BioTrue, Kayak and BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant.

Jolina also has a passion for health and fitness and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She hopes to spread her joy for movement by living a healthy and thriving lifestyle through fitness. She is a proud Filipina who loves donuts and nature. Currently Jolina resides in Astoria, Queens with her husband, Mike, and their furbaby, Roy. Her favorite hobbies plant forward cooking, eating, traveling, watching good tv and movies, reading, and going hikes.
